Peter that’s actually a really great question.

Surely whatever votes they get on the east coast is outweighed by the potential loss of votes in VIC SA & TAS so the political motive isn’t a strong case.

So what is it. Albos promise to not approve it isn’t a big deal either as promises are broken daily by these clowns.

So why drag it out this long. Had it been approved six months ago no one would care anymore and we would have all moved on. Delaying until the election still only delays it rather than kills it so I’m lost. Has a major player like Esso or the like gotten involved and done a deal so that the area doesn’t get explored??? Sounds a bit far fetched but the delay when others get approved and gas is needed is mind boggling.

There’s always lots going on behind the scenes and I’m hoping that somebody’s action is the catalyst for the government to get forced into action.
