On 29th April 2020 - this was sent by NOPTA - Their recommendation to the JA together with 2 DRAFT 'Approval' letters .... and note how long they believed that the NSW and Commonwealth governments would take to make their decisions: (Yes - approx 2 weeks!!)

NOPTA ADVICE
1. Approve 24 months suspension to Permit Year 4 and a
corresponding 24 months extension of the permit term in
accordance with the Act and on merit.
2. Approve a secondary variation to Permit Year 5 in accordance
with the Act and Guideline.
3. Convey the following to the applicant, via NOPTA:
i) Condition 1 of the title remains in force, as such monthly
reporting is still required; and that
ii) The Joint Authority expects that the titleholders will meet
with NOPTA within 12 months of this letter to discuss
progress on approvals and contracting.
A draft letter to the titleholder (Attachment 1) and a draft
instrument (Attachment 2) reflecting the recommendations are
provided with this assessment for your review.
