At the end of the day these buffoons could have processed this application as normal routine. Scomo set this up to be a walk in the park as far as responsibility and ownership of the decision. Sure the squeakers would have thrown the toys out of the cot and had a moment, but it would have passed like storm in a teacup and the rest would be history.
