I am of the opinion that mediation will be strongly advised by justice Jackson.

Justice Jackson cannot order mediation, as all have the right to a hearing.

I suspect that the Albanese government have been waiting for this as they can now claim - according to law and process etc.

The hearing date will be in October.

Important to consider that the Court has no interest IN the decsion, but, rather, a decsion IS made. This is the point most dont apprecaite.

This application is about ensuring the JA make a decision, in a tiemframe that is reasonable, according to law and is not contestable.

Dont overthink it - this is a very routine process.
