Actually, I'm pretty sure most of the option holders are those who were issued those options in the first place (like me). Although I have also purchased more as well as more heads. We have been around a long time and already lost the OA options due to these delays.

It will be interesting to see what happens on the day but I'm guessing that the new holders and those who sold out of their freebies for a quick profit are far outnumbered by the likes of us who would like to get the benefit of converting their options when PEP11 finally gets approved and the SP reflects the true value of the company.
