A few questions. Why would there be a mention hearing in late September.

Discovery may take longer. There has been no application for discovery or even preliminary discovery.

Once the respondent files, the respondent may seek further and better particulars and request specific documents.

I would imagine there is quiet some extensive email spider web ( not a trail) between parties and entities who are party and not party to the process, but were or injected themsleves into the process.

If documents are requested in reponse to the respondents submission, then the process may be extended.

This matter could go either way. Extended due to the volume of documents sought or the respondent agrees, via consent, to make a decision within 45 days.
