Just to be clear, PKIT is fit for purpose and by all reports ready to operate.
one problem, no customers.
why? nobody will sign a GSA at their base viability price, their gas is too expensive.
so, when they took possession of their FSRU, they first sublet it to Singapore, and then to Egypt.
until that FSRU sets sail from Egypt to Wollongong, PKIT will not be a solution
even if does, it will never be competitive with PEP11 gas on price
the question really is, will either the reds or the blues give Twiggy some taxpayer $$$ to subsidise the delivery price? That would really piss me off.
