Time for the Government to stand up and own the fact that transitioning to net zero by removing coal and substituting with Gas is a great idea. Gas is the best fossil fuel to follow the demands of the daily energy excess during the day and the massive shortfall at night.
Batteries and Hydro have no chance in meeting the needs over a typical 14/16hr night period.
Own it and approve the Extension of PEP11 ED Husic!
NSW can decide later if they actually want the gas should there be the 5.7-13TCF that some suggest might be there.
