Would you possibly consider changing your attitude at all as currently your doom and gloom is not doing you or anyone else any good.
Try reversing your thought process to how lucky you are to have been reissued the options as last week you had nothing. Now you have the potential to make a fortune in the next 12 months and if it doesn't happen you can always go back your current attitude. You have been extremely fortunate to have been thrown a lifeline here as I have never been fortunate enough to have options extended, and have lost an absolute motza on them, when companies didn't make deadlines and time beat them and they expired worthless
