I still think the majority here are looking at the problem of this Court case the wrong way.

i don't think the big issue in the grand scheme of this whole ideal is Scott Morrison doing what's he did, secretly or not, irregardless of him being a scumbag and deceitful to the Australian people - the issue is that these powers were made available to him without a real process in place to prevent this corruption.

I think (don't know) this whole case will only ever be about preventing this kind of behaviour happening in the future, with the lovely side effect of casting a negative opinion into the liberal party, which should help for a single election period.

At worst Scomo is not going to be in the running next election, but i doubt that would have been the case anyway
