and @Bankobanko there seems to be a NSW Govt strategy to back onshore CCS in connection with the coal industry. I agree, the offshore process appears more robust and the risks of contaminating the artesian aquifers doesn't sit well with me. Geographically, PEP11 seems superior too, and cost a clear factor when the goal is to lower prices. So ideally the Federal Govt, having flagged support for NSW onshore CCS, will also be keen to support offshore CCS at PEP11 once it is approved.
