I can help with an answer to that.

I'm expecting a hatchet job on the two pro-gas "men in suits". The younger women will try to make them look like dinosaurs and Turnbull is hell bent on revenge and ScoMo's gas recovery plan is a juicy target for him.

PEP 11 may not get a mention. It didn't on Four Corners - but the relevant Minister wasn't interview - however he is tonight and it's too much of an opportunity to drive a wedge between ScoMo and Pitt. My bet is that it does get raised.

But only one thing matters to us. All we need to hear is Pitt saying that he makes the final decision on PEP 11.

If he is quizzed about the PM's stance, the correct response would be:
    • I've had input from a lot of people and I take all views into account.
    • But an application has been submitted and under the rules of government, it must follow due process.
    • If pushed on the PM's stance, he should say: The PM has only expressed his personal views and that is more in relation to eventual gas production, not simple exploration.
    • I will not shy away from doing what is best for the national interest.

If he and Liveris can clear up some of the misinformation, that will be a bonus.

All in all, I think BPH will get a bounce after tonight.
