Pollies do stuff like this all the time, enough time before the election to create a narrative around it.
But you can expand the thought process she has intensionally taken a far firmer stance to back Pitt into the corner. If he approves, he will create division between nats and LNP (or perceived in the media anyway). Trying to force his hand somewhat. Not sure that would work with Pitt and She is a rookie pollie so wouldn't surprise me if she did it thinking it would be successful (or even out of despriation)
Hard to decipher the commentary in such a small release of information.
Once there is a decision we can be 20/20 with our hindsight we can better understand her/ scotty's commentary....
