What's people's thoughts on how much hunter by-election is affecting the timing of the decision?
I hadn't fully appreciated the importance to the NSW government that this by-election had. Difference between majority and minority government in a seat they won by 2.6% in 2019. Next election is 2023, so post this by-election they have some clear air.
I personally don't think this has much relevance on a national stage nor any impending federal election (which scomo is probably wanting to be as far away as possible with the bashing he has received recently)
Is this something to be decided post-May 22nd?
