I aplogise - off topic a bit - but does point to why we may not hear any traditional claims.

For those climate change doubters, the sea level has been on a relatively constant rise since that time. Food fo r thought.

Unlikely that inhabitants lived on or near the current PEP-11 drill site.

Hence, possibly the reason, we are not hearing from Aboriginal people whose ancestors inhabited these lands.

THe other reason is that there is not alot of consensus of which Mobs have long historical ancestoral links to these regions.




This map is too big to post, but its the last ice age. Not 40,000 years ago, but 20,000. It is probable that Hoomo Sapiens could have migrated acroos the land masses on Sunda and Sahul and only needed to navigate short distances across water.
