So today is to resume on the NSW ALP Scully introduced legislation. This is likely to proceed to the next step. Upper House?

The Committee Report you mention above is to do with the NSW LNP Amon introduced legislation. Once the ALP/Scully legislation is heard today, I would expect that the LNP/Amon legislation will be deferred until it drops off or withdrawn as it will have been superceded by the ALP/Scully legislation which is supported by both parties and the Independents.

What I don't know is how long it will take for the ALP/Scully legislation to make it's way into law, another week? another fortnight? another month? This is important as I don't believe the NSW JA member will inform NOPTA of their decision until it has the support of both houses and has become law.
