NSW Pollies are playing with the commercial viability of the project. They have waited/delayed over a year (since Court case) and 5 months since NOPTA Recommendation - through different members to finally come up with the Government Bill to make PEP11 Gas Expensive and so will not be feasible to pursue (paraphrasing their words). Whether this tactic will work or not can only be tested once the JA decision is made and an Approval is given and gas is found.
However, the company needs to advise one and all - what their 'thoughts/reactions' are once this legislation is passed.
