I take your point and I'm sure Mode1971 doesn't need me to interpret his posts, but reading the ASRA posts IMO is simply Mode providing an example of what has happened in the past as a potential example as to a theory for the future with these options.

There is nothing definitive in his posts to suggest he is saying this is what will happen. Again you need to be careful how you interpret things here otherwise you'll become one of those victims who blames their problems on others and that's of no value to anyone.
