Dear Michael Foley,I am writing to inform you that your article in the AGE this morning on PEP-11 contains misinformation and is misleading. As a journalist one would think that you would endeavour to check that the information you presented are facts and not what other opponents of the project have been spreading. You used the term "petroleum" which implies that the project is about oil exploration!! PEP-11 has nothing to do with oil exploration or recovery. It is only about Gas and gas only. For your information, gas has been seeping in the area for a long time. I do not expect self interest groups, such as Zali Steggals' or the some surfers' groups to bother to provide accurate information, but a journalist whose job is to expose facts, would and should. I suggest you read the article by Janathan Davidson that was published on the 15 of March on PEP-11. You will have a better understanding of the project.Thank you for your time.
