IVZ is a good and current example. We have Scott with what he has learnt both positive and negative from the IVZ experience to guide GLV.
IVZ went it alone and have had some good results but significant dilution and now the SP is languishing. Will they have to keep raising at ever lower prices?
I would prefer GLV go the JV route like PCL which has a $200m market cap, not even close to drilling, but have a JV to free carry with Woodside.
The price action to me looks like big players shaking out retail. They would have done their research and talked to the right people. Is a Woodside for example sniffing around trying to get a look in the data room.
Any sniff of a JV with a major and GLV goes to the moon.
