What is the power out put of the desisel drive compared to the eletcric drive ?
Are the drives in-line, driving each other, depending on which power source.
Or are they completely different systems.
A boat of your size would need large, dual, turbo diesels.
How much battery storage do you need, for example, to cruise at 15 knots for six hours?
Last questio, . Are the electric motors non-polarity, meaning the electric motors can be made to spin in both directions, therefor a gearbox is not needed.
