My boat is a very modest 40 ft Carvel Ex Trawler/ trap boat.
The sons of one of my fishing mates work on the large superyachts in queensland, They still run the conventional turbo charged dual deisels.
He recently piloted one of these alrge boats from sydney to hamilton island then across to Vanuatu then NZ and back. I am suprised this technology hasnot been adapted on these very alrge and very expensive boats.
