Not only was ConocoPhillips sniffing around PEP11 but Red Energy/Snowy Hydro were also looking at pre purchasing gas via a Gas services agreement.
The irony of this is the federal government owns Red Energy/Snowy Hydro and PEP11 Inc tried to keep this quiet.
It wasn't until a FOI was released in which the federal government disclosed this to the public.
IMHO - I wouldn't be surprised if another company was interested.
