With respect GB I wasn't talking about how DB runs his companies...that is another discussion altogether. I am talking about a lease which was legally awarded to MMR with the expectation that the normal procedure would apply.....ie that the company would do all the things that companies do to prepare for drilling exploratory holes. This is my opinion of what a lease is for. MMR have done all things expected of a company to prepare the area for what the lease is for......to exploratory drill for oil and gas. If the government did not wish to have this area explored (and it seems they have predetermined the result) then why give a lease at all over this area in the first place. If they are so determined to disallow this lease then to me the ethical thing to do is to cancel the lease and offer compensation........not to try to send a legally registered ASX company broke trying to get what is simply procedural fairness.
