Without endorsing any of your comments GB, it's interesting to note that the Company's constitution, previously released in 2011 (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-mec-resources-ltd-constitution.1619791/) stated in 11.19 that "A person of or over the age of 72 years may not be appointed or re-appointed as a Director except pursuant to a resolution of the Company in accordance with the Corporations Act."
The Company and its shareholders changed its constitution in 2023 (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-constitution.7467091/). Guess what, that particular clause referring to the age of directors is absent in the newer constitution.
He must be pretty close to 72 now, if not there already. Moot point I guess. Reminds me of Trump's contortion of rules to satisfy his hold on power...
