First, the LNP need to wegde the TEALS and greens over their catastrophice offshore wind farm idea. Catastrophic for the environment and similalry disasterous for the cost of living and the economy.
A grade three student could mount a compelling argument as to why one small gas drill hole, through a proven technology, producing kilojoule intensive form of energy is vastly superiro to the alternative. An unproven generation system that will not provide base load power and will be an environmental disaster and hundreds of turbines will be visible from the shore.
Gas will provide a near term driver of reduced energy prices. IF PEP-11 does prove up the resource estimated, then east coast supply will be sorted for 20-30 years, Dutton will be a hero.
Its impossible to outgreen the greens nor out teal the TEALS.
LNP need to reveal the vandalism that is the offshore windfarms.
