Duttons energy plan is sensible. A mix of renewables with base load power. Offshore windfarms are a fantasy. Dutton is not scrapimg wind farms, as offshore deepwater windfarm technology, in a location such as the Australian east coast dont exist. Dutton is scraping the fantasy and false promises.
Dutton and the LNP are advocating the increase in gas supply - for electricity generation, domestic and industrial energy. Dutton wont force exporters to reserve production for domestic use, Instead he will increase and facilitate domestic production.
The release of the LNP's energy policy, in the nearer future, will provide further guidance.
As I have previously stated, PEP-11, specifically, wont be singled out. Rather, the LNP will be advocating for increase in supply through exploration of exisitng licences and facilitating new licences.
TEALS will be wedged. Expensive and ugly wind turbines, that wont reduce power bills for decades are economic and enviromental vandalism.
Gas is an energy intensive resource that will supply reliable base load power and reduce energy bills for domestic and industrial users.
I can assure all and sundry that a positive LNP policy on gas production will be a significant catalyst for the PEP-11 group.
Of which MMR is the alpha.
