    New Zealand wireless broadband provider Woosh Wireless has announced the acquisition of ISP Quicksilver and plans to expand into wireline broadband services.

    According to Bob Smith, CEO Woosh Wireless, "this enable us, over the coming months, to deliver additional product and services to meet your needs. From hereon, Woosh offers the best of wired and wireless phone and internet services at the right cost."

    Woosh Wireless will continue its wireless cell site rollout, growing the company's coverage areas.

    The acquisition allows Woosh to tap into Quicksilver fixed line broadband and phone services, providing consumers with more options when it comes to broadband technologies.
