On 23 September 2005 Macmahon Holdings Limited announced a capital raising of $58.4 million,
comprising:
• A Placement to Institutional Investors of 57.2 million shares at $0.47 per share to raise $26.9
million (book build completed 22 September and to be allotted on 28 September 2005); and
• A 1 for 6 Renounceable Rights Issue to at $0.43 per share to raise approximately $31.5
million.
The prospectus for the one for six renounceable rights issue has been lodged with the ASX and will
be mailed to you on 7 October 2005.
Under this offer you will be entitled to subscribe for one share for six shares held by you as at close
of business 5 October 2005 at a cost of 43 cents per share.

The important dates are:
Rights trading commences and Securities quoted on an “ex” basis 28 September
Record Date to determine Entitlements 5 October

Closing date for lodgement of your Entitlement and Acceptance
Form to be received by the Share Registry in Perth 24 October
New Shares allocated and holding statements despatched 2 November
Trading commences for New Shares 3 November
