Kinko, dont agree with you about using TA and charting solely to make investment decision. Though I would rather use only charting than only fundamentals if I to choose.

I have a list of all the fundamentally good stocks in each sector and they take priority when im checking charts. IF and only if one of them fits my criteria for a "good chart", then i will enter that stock with far greater chance of upside. I wont ever enter a stock that is trending sideways or down no matter how good the fundamentals are or TA. That is a new rule i have added to my trading plan and its working great.
