If you havent sold by now, you should sell soon because the takeover would probably not happen.

The reasons
1. Market turmoil thats happening
2. The various attached conditions with the bid, especially the minimum 90% shareholder acceptance.
3. The recent moves by mongolia arbitrarily wanting to increase Oyu Tolgoi stake from 34-->50%, without any compensation to Rio/Iva.

Reason 3 goes back to reason 2 since this would be considered by Banpu as a major sovereign risk.

FYI really, no I am not looking to buy this stock after reason 3 happened.
