I agree, sounds sort of counter intuitive. Yes it would give piece of mind and be relatively no stress in such a position, but one must think as to why these investors first purchased the stock? Because as I see it it is in a better position to perform now ex post. Sorta means shareholder exposure was more when risk was high and less when risk is less...just my 3.2cents
