Depends on the type of trust. A discretionary trust will requires to you distribute all of the profit. If it isn't then the trust will simply have to pay the top tax rate instead of the individual's tax rate that the profit(s) were distributed to. So not exactly "adverse". However this doesn't need to be done until 30/06/08 where its formlised in the minutes and resolution. However I have no doubts that GMG will have significant write downs affecting the profit in the first place.
To be honest I know little about the company, I simply used it as a day trade, which I achieved successfully. It was obvious a run would occur based on the deemed yield. I've been watching this and GPT closely, and day trade them every now and then.
