I think we are past the point of no return, doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make a difference, but the third world justifiably aspires to our standard of living and in doing so what is left of the world's finite resources will be consumed.....no easy answers and if there were, human nature says we wouldn't choose them anyway, since greed is hardwired into our DNA....
