But any employer has always been able to negotiate individual over award conditions with any employee. Work Choices legislation was not required for that. An employer can always pay an employee any amount they want as long as it is not below the minimum wage for that classification. Thirty years ago I negotiated my wages with employers in some jobs so that is nothing new it's always been possible. Dave R.
