So how many were shaken out of the tree today by the desperate seller or two ?
Has to be a few here that thought that someone knew something bad ?
Don't forget the suitor may not want the shareprice high before any deal is offered ..... I am only hypothesizing but by being willing to buy and then to dump at a small loss it would be possible to weaken the resolve of holders and perhaps ultimately get a deal over the line at a greater overall saving . Who knows ?
It is also a bad market and one or two jumpy sellers may just keep looking for the exit with no agenda or inside knowledge .
