Even Warren Buffett says to those with limited financial acumen or interest to just buy the S&P500 Index and you’ll do alright.
The problem is so many people haven’t been introduced to the basics….the need to start thinking about, and working towards retirement when you’re still in your youth, the power of compound interest, buying luxuries when you can afford them, not just want them, good debt v bad debt, the real cost of not paying off credit cards quickly, having car loans in perpetuity etc, etc.
