Quality Assurance Manager
RCR Resources is a leading provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction expertise for mining and oil & gas projects. RCR provides market leading turnkey materials handling solutions, from design and manufacture to maintenance and off-site repair. This is complemented by a comprehensive range of specialist services in heavy machinery repair including shutdown, refurbishment and maintenance.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure the timely fabrication of conforming process modules and their related structures, in accordance with the contract, specifications, standards, procedures and schedule.
• Ensure that accurate, timely and transparent fabrication status reporting is established and maintained at all times.
• Establish and maintain a productive and positive relationship with the fabricator’s key personnel.
• Uphold and demonstrate by personal example, the RCR Tomlinson cultural values of integrity, respect, open communication and leadership.
• Personally maintain safe practices of work and be intolerant of unsafe practices wherever they are encountered in the workplace.
• Highlight, report and resolve issues promptly, by direct action or in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
• Positively verify the conformance of fabricated items and provide decision support and technical expertise whenever required.

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

• Knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 3834, AS 1554 and ISO TS 29001
• Comprehensive experience of Production Systems, Product/Process Engineering, Logistical Concepts, Project Management, Quality Planning, Integrated Management System planning and Compliance and Risk Management principles
• Experience in the implementation of Management Systems
• Ability to positively influence / lead staff at all levels
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Full understanding of AWS D1.1 and AS1554 SP
• Experience in the implementation of Quality Management Systems
• Ability to analyse data related to SHEQ performance within RCR, knowledge of Six Sigma, Process mapping and of statistical process control

This role will be for approx. 9 months’ duration to cover the Pilbara Minerals Project.
