I respect our elder people in society who are basically gobsmacked not only by the notion of SSM but also by the standover tactics used by the YES campaign to push their agenda - elderly women and men who embrace marriage and the family unit are now being labelled bigots and homophobes . This is a disgrace , they are entitled to hold a view that basically for their , their parents and their grandparents lives was viewed only as NORMAL

Nobody is denying anyone their rights , gays and lesbians are free in this society to live and do as they chose but why attack the sanctity of a traditional marriage and family unit ?

I have been reading how the marriage certificate is important to the issue for things such as if your partner was sick or dying in a hospital to be legally recognised as next of kin, for wills and estates lots of small details that some probably take for granted not just about bank accounts

Why people are making umpteen threads about 2 gen y 18 yr olds being typically Gen Y over Facebook is beyond me ....one would do the point ...but your turning the issue to more posts and threads than Korea nuking Japan which is saying quite a lot it's literally ramming your views down people's throats
