I thought miners etc were spoild beyond belief until I spent some time in the bush in Kimberley and Pilbara. I worked on a similar rooster with a similar pay. Work started 6am and finished around 9pm, four weeks straight with half a day off every week with nowhere to go. I have never ever had to work that hard for my money. People with a lower pay in the cities don't know what they are talking about, inferring that life is easy in Pilbara. Most graduates find it very hard to adapt to e.g., life in a pit in the summer where you may have to drink 15 litres of water a day and still be dehydrated.
