A mate was one of 30 to go from the Qld state printer, GoPrint (only had 42 e/ees). But he won't appear on any unemployment stats because he does refereeing at w/e's, for which he gets paid. So, he's not unemployed ....
Why do they still rely upon telephone polls for their data? Surely they could get from Centrelink how many people are on full unemployment benefits, partial etc?
If you have one hour's paid work per week, you are not unemployed. So if he refs. one match, not in the 5.1%. If you work on the family farm at all, and don't get paid anything - you are not unemployed.
