    Hi redcordial

Like all things there are two problems - short term and long term

Most young people do not understand the concept of work, they think it is just something they fill in time with to get a pay packet

So the basic thing is we have to change the culture of the young (and not only the young)It may be an odd concept but the old adage a fair days work for a fair days pay can still apply

There are too many parents supporting their kids, buying them cars etc. Why work when you can get it in other ways?

A young friend of mine after flying through Uni said that he was going to mow lawns! Now four years later he runs a maintenance business, employs others and has just bought his first house, drives a new car and lives well
All from just going out and getting lawns to cut.

So there is plenty of work available but the thought process of the kids has to change. Another young guy I know, intelligent, good IT skills personable young man, short hair no tatts but also poor parents and no drive to actually do anything he gets jobs stays a while then decides that the job is boring and leaves.
