It has to be something high wattage. The 2 most draining appliances are air con and radiant heaters(in winter).
Do you have a swimming pool? That would use some juice for the pump/heater.
Just a point on hot water systems. Some have a non adjustable thermostat set to 69 degrees celcius. This is a waste of time. 69 is way too hot, so when the temperature drops to, say, 65, it kicks back in, constantly heating up already way too hot water, all day long, 24/7. 50 degrees is more than enough. Too low and the tank could breed 'nasties.' Get an adjustable one and dial down the setting.
