FAR limited, an international organization in partnership with Talib Ahmad Bensouda’s Foundation and Gam Sense recently donated 100 waste bins to 10 community markets in the Greater Banjul Area for proper management of waste at a presentation held at Semeka Janneh hall in Tallinding.

Ben Clube, director of FAR limited is operating in Senegal and also registered in The Gambia to contribute in environmental sanitation.

Interim mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council Dodou Jallow thanked FAR limited and Gam Sense for the gesture and assured them that the bins will be judiciously used.

Lamin Samateh from the National Environmental Agency (NEA) said FAR limited came with a good gesture in tackling community sanitation and appealed to communities to make the proper utilization of the donated bins.

The National Assembly Member (NAM) for Latri Kunda Sabiji and Muhammed Drammeh thanked the donors and called on beneficiaries to make best use of the bins by keeping their environment clean at all times.
