Actually, I have quite a few female scientist friends and let me tell you they are very good but also have advantages on top of that not accorded to men.
For instance, being unemployed in-between grant wins for research leaves a man heavily penalised in today's society still - a broke bum not date worthy or marriage worthy. A female in the same situation is still perceived as a great one to date - the double standard despite claims of equality is stark.
Women still demand the male earns the same, but really more, money than them to be considered date/mate worthy. Equality is women's minds is a delusion proven by their own collective actions.
