It appears to me your post is what you have inferred to be the case, not actual fact.
WRONG! Just because you can't find any official announcement does not mean the announcement is not out there somewhere or his appointment has not happened. The link I posted I believe is the Mining Ministry website (if you can find another one, please share with us). Professor Fuh Calistus Gentry's lovely photo is posted on that website, clearly stating that he is the Minister.
Also, Cameroon Tribune is the Cameroon Government official website. I have already shown you an article which was only published last night that Professor Fuh Calistus Gentry's title is Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Technological Development (Minmidt).
There is nothing else I can share for now. I will think twice before sharing my research in the future. Can't afford wasting too much time on such a simple thing.
