Pity all the hydrocarbon haters who were busy predicting the demise of oil and gas as the world “rapidly” shifts to renewables. I said at the time that was a pipe dream…the world has a decades-long appetite for hydrocarbons left, not to mention the huge infrastructure built around the oil and gas industry. The globalist elites at Davos might be pushing hard to rid the world of hydrocarbons but energy security won’t be guaranteed by wind power and batteries, no matter how much they wish it were so.
