and certainly not Rudd or Gillard. Howard was the first to raise it is why I mentioned Howard.
for me Howard was a very mixed bag. some tricks in that bag too. some things I respected him for and some I admired him for. some things I almost hated him. but I learned a lot from him. he was a good teacher.
he talked about HELE for 2 years before '07. yet no interest was shown from business investors. same things but to a lesser degree of both political enthusiasm and will to actually do something about it.
and you're right Aus will never save the world. but we each need to do our bit. doncher think?
