SPI futures traded in a small 25 point range last night, high being 6041, low being 6016, with a close this morning of 6022, down 5 points, on volume of 17,930 contracts. September futures closed at 5964, on volume of 11,569 contracts, so the rollovers have begun. Based on last nights move, my high resistance line is 6051, low support line is 6001, with the pivot point at 6026, however, with a gap down at 5998, that will be my low line. Gaps up at 27 and 32 from last night, and down at 14, 10, 00, 5990 and 5998 from previous days. DOW down .47 pct, SNP down .40 pct, Canada (resource driven) down less at .14 pct, which is probably why SPI is not down so much this morning. VIX up 4.86 pct to 12.94, back below 15 - nice. Should be a nice opening gap. Have a nice day.
