I would rather deal with ice & polar bears than a corrupt government & violence. Also keep in mind that the mine is next to a fjord that we can ship directly out of. Additionally, compared to jurisdictions such as Canada and Australia, the cost of labour will probably be cheaper too. Whilst Greenlanders will get some of the jobs, a lot of the positions cannot be filled by the natives and we can bring in cheap Chinese and eastern European labour. Yes, the arctic conditions are a hurdle but the unique geography can be an edge. I don't think Glencore or nyrstar would have invested unless they saw serious potential in this mine. Let's hope nfc know what they are doing in arctic conditions & get this beast into production.

PS: JD, if you are reading this, please give your shareholders an update in regards to what progress nfc has made so far.
